This sermon was preached on Sunday 29th May 2016 at Oak Grove Chapel, Norwich, UK. It is the second of a series on the fifth chapter of First Thessalonians. It describes our cooperation with The Lord Jesus in allowing His Spirit to motivate and bless us. There are two Audio Tracks.

We looked at this amazing church history and formation of this vibrant church in Thessalonica. The apostle Paul only spent 3 weeks teaching and preaching and building up the young belivers in this city. And yet, they were a vibrant fellowship of young Christians, full of faith, love and hope. They were also a people waiting eagerly for Jesus to return and take them to be with himself. This encourages us to know that when we preach deep truths in the power of the Spirit we can trust GOD TO DO A MIGHTY WORK of Faith, Hope, Love in a very short time-span.
It is marvelous that the Thessalonian believers could live such a life through the apostle’s short ministry of less than one month. This encourages us!
